MoneyCore is a personal finance app built for individuals who want to understand and improve their financial health. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights over your data.
01 Information we collect
When you create an account and use MoneyCore, we collect:
- Account information — your name, email address, and (if you sign in with Apple) your Apple ID.
- Financial profile data — income sources, obligations, debts, savings targets, and budget plans you enter manually.
- Transaction records — expenses and income entries you add yourself.
- Portfolio data — investment holdings and manual asset values you add.
- Push notification token — used only to deliver in-app notifications you have enabled.
- Subscription status — managed through RevenueCat (see Section 3).
We do not collect or access your bank accounts, credit cards, or any financial institution directly. All financial data in MoneyCore is entered manually by you.
02 How we use your information
Your data is used exclusively to operate the app:
- Displaying your financial dashboard, health score, and insights.
- Syncing your profile across sessions.
- Sending optional push notifications you have turned on.
- Verifying your subscription status.
- Generating Excel exports when you request them.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal or financial data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.
03 Subscription & billing
MoneyCore uses RevenueCat to process and manage in-app subscriptions. When you subscribe, RevenueCat receives a subscription identifier from Apple or Google. We store only the subscription expiry date on our servers — no payment card details are ever sent to or stored by MoneyCore.

04 Data storage & security
Your data is stored on secure servers. We use encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) for all data transfers between the app and our servers. Access to your data is restricted to authenticated requests using your account token.
While no system is perfectly secure, we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information from unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure.
05 Data retention
Your data is kept for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all your data — including your profile, financial records, transactions, and portfolio — is permanently and immediately removed from our servers. This action cannot be undone.
06 Your rights & account deletion
You have the right to:
- Access your data — all your data is visible within the app at any time.
- Export your data — Premium subscribers can export financial data to Excel from Settings.
- Delete your account — go to Settings → Delete Account to permanently erase your account and all associated data immediately.
- Opt out of notifications — toggle notifications off at any time in Settings.
07 Children's privacy
MoneyCore is open to users of all ages, including younger people who want to build financial literacy, understand cash flow, and develop healthy money habits. For users under 13, we encourage parental involvement and oversight. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 without parental consent. If you have any concerns about a child's account or data, please contact us and we will address it promptly.
08 Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
